EVENTS TOURS

CROP OVER HARVEST FESTIVAL

The eastern sugar factory at Duckenfield celebrates Crop Over with all the villages surrounding the estate. The celebration takes place on the Sunday following the end of the crop sometime in June or July. It starts with an ecumenical thanks giving service.

This is followed by a country style fair with entertainment by local groups of gospel singers, dancers and musicians. It is giving thanks by all for having achieved another successful sugar cane harvest.
