SCHOOLS TOURS

The CULTURE & artS Tour

This tour commences at the Edna Manley School for the Visual and Performing Arts. A walking tour of the EMSVPA's four schools, Art, Dance, Drama and Music, and their facilities is followed by refreshment at their canteen. The tour then visits the National Gallery where the Permanent Collection is viewed and explored along with whatever other exhibitions are being displayed.

The Edna Manley College of Visual and Performing Arts offers a wide variety of performance and studio courses in each of its Schoolss - the School of Art, the School of Dance, and the School of Drama. In addition to courses in these performing arts areas, the College offers a range of upper-division courses in Carribean studies and culture. Prior to departure, participants select an individual program of study from the courses listed. Instruction is by the Edna Manley College faculty and participants are examined in the same manner and are held to the same standards as their Jamaican counterparts. read more
